Ingredients:
1 ½ cups homemade vegetable stock (or low sodium vegetable broth)
½ cup water
¼ cup soy sauce (we use Naked Coconuts Soy Sauce Substitute)
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp poultry seasoning
⅓ cup brown rice flour
(Tip: We make our own flour in our coffee grinder; make extra to thicken the gravy as desired.)
Directions:
Place all ingredients except the brown rice flour in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Slowly add the ⅓ cup flour, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Turn down heat to a gentle simmer. Keep stirring.
After a few minutes sprinkle in a bit more flour if you’d like thicker gravy.
Pour the gravy into a Vitamix or other high speed blender and process on high for a few seconds until mixture is smooth and velvety. We added this step as it makes the silkiest gravy imaginable!
